Volkswagen and Mahindra sign supply agreement
Volkswagen Group and M&M have signed the first supply agreement on components of Volkswagen’s MEB for Mahindra’s purpose-built electric platform INGLO. The deal covers the supply of certain electric components as well as unified cells. With the agreement, Volkswagen and Mahindra are further deepening their collaboration, which started with a partnering agreement and a term sheet in 2022. Mahindra will be the first external partner to use the unified cell concept, the core element of Volkswagen’s battery strategy. The supply agreement will run over several years and have total volume of about 50 GWh over its lifetime. Read more

TechM acquires 100% stake in Orchid Cybertech Services Inc.
Tech Mahindra announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Orchid Cybertech Services Inc. (OCSI) through its wholly-owned subsidiary for $3.27 Million (over ₹27 Crore) in an all-cash deal. OCSI, incorporated in 2004, in the Philippines provides customer experience-related services to TPG Telecom. TechM has a long-standing relationship with TPG Telecom (TPG) and this deal further strengthens the relationship with it and aids in expanding existing customer experience capabilities and business in the Philippines. TechM and TOTSCo to revolutionise broadband switching
TechM announced a strategic partnership with TOTSCo (The One Touch Switching Company Ltd) to design, build and operate a message-exchange platform for the UK telecom industry. The platform will be used by all UK retail communications service providers to enable the new one touch switch process for residential fixed broadband and voice services. The platform will allow consumers to switch telecom service providers seamlessly and take advantage of the range of services available. Easier switching allows end users to choose the best price and service as per their requirements. Read more
