Across businesses, across locations Mahindra Group companies celebrated the 80th Founders’ Day with pomp and grandeur – organising talent shows, competitions for employees’ children, award functions and fun.

On October 2, 2025, the Mahindra Group’s headquarters at Worli was decked up with marigold garlands and colourful rangolis to welcome leaders, employees and their families for a day of pride, participation and pomp. The day began with the chief guest Meenakshi Priyam walking into a warm welcome and viewing the Memory Wall. This followed by unveiling of the Founders photos, speeches, and performances by Mahindra employees.

Swaraj Tractors Division

The 80th Founders' Day at Swaraj Division was brought to life by the presence of Mr. Anand Mahindra, Group Chairman, whose involvement made the occasion truly memorable. His arrival created a palpable sense of excitement, with everyone in attendance visibly energized and inspired by his charisma and approachability.

Employees showcased their extraordinary talent in a vibrant display of India’s cultural heritage, with Mr. Mahindra enthusiastically cheering every performance – from traditional dances to a dynamic rap dedicated to Swaraj. He also presented a floral tribute and inaugurated the cultural gathering, honouring the visionary founders whose legacy continues to guide the organization. Mr. Mahindra also presented the ESOPs Star Performer award for CSR, further reinforcing Swaraj’s culture of excellence.

From the outset, Mr. Mahindra’s deep engagement was evident. He was warmly welcomed by CSR beneficiaries and employees’ children, who presented handmade paintings as an expression of admiration. He took a keen interest in the colourful Rangolis crafted by employees and their families, sharing words of encouragement and signifying his appreciation by autographing toy models for the artists. Throughout the event, Mr. Mahindra remained deeply involved in each activity. He explored the walkthrough, led by employees, spent time at the ‘Rise for Good’ gallery, applauding a captivating performance by speech and hearing-impaired children, and personally appreciating the crafts produced under Project Prerna.

Auto and Farms Division

At Mahindra Auto and its many divisions, plants the 80th Founders’ Day celebration was not just about marking the milestone but about celebrating the Mahindra journey, achievements and values that define the group.

Zaheerabad Farm Division

The Zaheerabad Farm Division, the day featured cultural programs showcasing the talents of employees and their families, reflecting the creativity, energy, and spirit of our community. Several sports competitions were organized for employees, their spouses, and children, fostering camaraderie, fun, and family participation.

Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd

Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. celebrated the Founders’ Day with great fervor and gaiety, marking a significant milestone in its journey of excellence and innovation. The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of over 500+ members attending the Fun Fair theme featuring games for children, engaging activities and in-house food stalls prepared by employees and families to add the festive flavour.

Engine Plant Chakan

In a vibrant and joyous atmosphere, the Engine Plant, Chakan marked the celebrations with the presence of over 1100 + employees and their family members. The Two-Wheeler plant showcased an EV display to convey a powerful message: ‘Celebrating 80 years of Mahindra is not just about honouring the past but embracing the spirit that drives us forward with unity, purpose, and the vision to uplift communities globally.’

Auto Division's Haridwar Plant

The Auto Division’s Haridwar Plant celebrated the day with magnificent performances and a lively, energetic joyful spirit. The celebration was filled with a variety of activities, and several employees showcased their talents through vibrant cultural performances. The event also honoured the winners and runners-up of various sports events.

FD Nagpur Plant

At the FD Nagpur Plant a “Health Mela” was organised consisting of multi-specialty health activities in the form of health camps and counselling in association with our panel hospitals to promote wellness among employees and their families. Around 2000+ employees with their family members took advantage of these activities.

AD Nashik

At AD Nashik a puja was performed followed by the garlanding of founders’ portraits. The event also felicitated individual employees donating blood for the maximum times as well as the team who contributed to achieving the exemplary performance award for the Plant in Sustainability.

EPT Chakan

At the EPT Chakan the event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by inspiring speeches from the leadership team. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 800 attendees participating in the celebration.

Farm Machinery Division Pithampur

The Farm Machinery Division Pithampur celebrated its 80th Founder's Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Highlights of the program included cultural performances, fun stalls filled with entertainment, a product display, and most importantly, a family plant visit.

Bengaluru

At Bengaluru the celebrations honoured the winners and runners-up of various sports tournaments with similar celebrations held at the SBU-Kanhe Plant.
