‘Those who tell the stories rule the world.’
Why so? Because stories have the power to INSPIRE people and, perhaps, shape their future.
World Storytelling Day which falls on the March equinox [on or near March 20] and celebrates the rapidly disappearing art of oral storytelling. This ‘day’ came into prominence in the early-1990s, in Sweden…
This World Storytelling Day, we try to weave a story around Mahindra Group’s various businesses, and how they impact common people. Now, this has been a collaborative effort…a few businesses (honour scroll below) helped us to piece this story together…they debated the characters, created situations and scenes, wrote dialogues and applied time-lapses in ways that would put to shame the most accomplished of auteurs.
So, a BIG THANK YOU to the teams that supported us in this project.
- Rohan Shetye & Jitendra Kaku, Mahindra Accelo
- Arthur Serrao of FES and Shruti Chhabra of Swaraj Tractors
- Debangini Parasar, Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Ltd
- Shashank Dighe & Karishma Joshi, Mahindra Logistics
- Group Communications Team
Lastly, this is an in-house production...so, we’ve been very frugal about it. We’ve used AI extensively to create images and sound bytes. But we promise to do an even better job next time. Thanks A(a)I.
Now, drift along Aparna's ‘river of life’ and explore how Mahindra became her guiding compass at every bend. Happy ‘Storytelling Day’ to you all… and remember! if there’s a good story, it must be told…
We present… ‘Aparna’s World.’
