The strength of the will decides the flight, not the strength of the wings. This is evident in Kripa’s story. Kripa, from Club Mahindra, Virajpet, tells her story on how the right opportunities help us Rise for a more equal world.

Kripa firmly believes that people with disabilities (PwD) are on the lookout for the right opportunity that recognises them for their talents and abilities. She found one when she interviewed for a job at Club Mahindra, for the role of a telephone operator and assistant in reservations.

Kripa now also handles reservations and guest experiences.

“Though I am a person with a disability, the work environment at MHRIL allows me to be an equally valued contributor,” she says.

“Workplaces that prioritise efforts have been statistically proven to be safer, happier, and more productive to work in,” she concludes.
