Let’s celebrate the spirit of being life-long learners

Employees across the Mahindra Group are participating in the Mahindra Learning Festival to develop a culture of self-learning. The theme of the Festival is Leadership in the Digital Age. The event has 30 speakers — 19 internal and 11 external speakers from BCG, McKinsey, NASSCOM, Google, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft.

Mahindra has always invested heavily in upskilling of employees. Increasingly, we have realised that the challenging world we operate in requires a more all-encompassing, continuous learning strategy. At the core of the learning experience is high-quality content accessible through Harvard ManageMentor® (HMM) Spark™, a micro-content library with a vast number of topics to develop skills of interest.

The sessions are curated to meet the needs of varied audiences, from CXOs to individual contributors across sectors. Most of the sessions will introduce the learners to new perspectives and frameworks that they will be able to apply in their daily lives.

We timed the festival’s launch with the new year, when most of us resolve to improve ourselves. To capture this opportunity, we asked learners to share their resolutions on the ‘Resolve to Learn’ Wall — which had 79 posts and 389 interactions.

This is the first Mahindra Learning Festival using the “vidigital” mode, where learners can attend virtual sessions and complete activities/quizzes on the HMM Spark™ platform. Each session has a defined key takeaway that will be shared with senior leaders post the festival as insights from the sessions.
