Mahindra Lifespaces

Home Is Where Your Life Is

This Diwali, we bring to you the #GharkoBoloHappyDiwali campaign – celebrating our homes.

Ever since the global health crisis broke out, and we were ‘locked down’ in our houses, we fretted over what we missed – going out with friends, face-to-face meetings with our colleagues, the school and college experience, watching a movie in a theatre, working out at the gym, taking a vacation.

With space at a premium, our balconies turned into workspaces; dining tables became learning centres; living rooms transformed into gyms and cinemas. Shut off from the world, we brought our worlds inside. And what were mere brick-and-mortar living spaces transformed magically into a haven of shared experiences.

And this Diwali, Mahindra Lifespaces tells us that it is time to feel some gratitude. While Mahindra Lifespaces had earlier released the ‘Iss Ghar Ki Bohot Yaad Aayegi’ campaign, reflecting the desire to get back to ‘normal’, the company’s new #GharkoBoloHappyDiwali ad campaign celebrates our homes – our safe spaces that enable healthy interactivity and purposeful, active living.

“This is a good time to remind ourselves how our homes now play an integral role across all aspects of our lives”, said Viral Oza, Chief Marketing Officer, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd..

Conceptualised and executed by Network advertising, the #GharkoBoloHappyDIwali ad campaign is aligned to Mahindra Lifespaces’ promise of ‘Joyful Homecomings’. “The film was scripted, shot and produced in less than 10 days,” says Shayondeep Pal, Chief Creative Officer, Network Advertising. “We kept it simple, borrowing from our own lives instead of constructing ‘addy’ stories.”

The idea is to thank our homes and therefore, wishing every room for the role it played to support us, thereby imagining our home as a person to whom we wish ‘Happy Diwali’. “That sort of attachment makes us realise the warmth a home generates,” added Mr. Pal. “It is joyful.”
