Anand Mahindra continues as Executive Chairman

Anand Mahindra, Executive Chairman, Mahindra and Mahindra, will continue to be at the helm of the company till November 11, 2021, instead of April 1, 2020 as was announced earlier. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had mandated that from April 1, 2020, the top 500 listed companies of India, should appoint a Non-Executive Chairman. However, the market regulator has extended this deadline by two years until April 2022. Dr. Pawan Goenka and Dr. Anish Shah will continue to report to Anand Mahindra.

Anand Mahindra has created a legacy of growth for the Mahindra Group. Under his leadership the company entered the real estate and hospitality industries, and forayed into electric vehicles a decade ago.
