MIQ concludes 10th batch of ‘Energy Management’ programme with participation from across Mahindra companies

Energy is the lifeline of industry. Energy comes at a price, a commercial price, and an environmental price. To stay commercially competitive and environmentally sustainable, we maintain an unwavering focus on our energy consumption and constantly invest resources to make our processes more energy efficient. Learning from global best practices, sharing successful initiatives within sectors and functions, and implementing the best interventions, are all an integral part of our system.

Mahindra Institute of Quality (MIQ) organised 10th batch of the programme ‘Energy Management – The Mahindra Way’ on November 12-13, 2025. The objective of the programme was to enhance energy conservation awareness for effective asset selection, resource utilisation, process optimisation, improve operational efficiency, to disseminate latest techniques and advancements in the field of energy management.

Internal faculties from the Mahindra group shared their insights on the topics like Use of solar energy to achieve business goals, Carbon Neutrality and Science Based Targets (SBT).

External faculties were invited from organisations such as Energetic Consulting, Thermax, Design2Occupancy, Grundfos, Schneider Electric, Renotech Air Engineering, Atlas Copco and Wipro who enlightened their knowledge towards energy audit, regulatory requirements, heat pump, hot water generator, net zero buildings, efficient pumping systems, air conditioning, energy management system, harmonics, compressed air and lighting.

25 participants from Auto, Farm, Swaraj, Holidays, Farm Machinery, Accelo, and CEAT Limited actively participated in the programme and rated it at 4.64 on a scale of 1-5.

The programme was designed and coordinated by Mr Anand Marathe, Lead Sustainability at MIQ.
