Mahindra Logistics’ ‘Green Hour’ initiative is a call-to-action for a monthly commitment to conscious energy consumption

In line with the vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040, Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) embarked on a commendable journey towards sustainability through its ‘Green Hour’ initiative. Held on the last Saturday of every month, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, this initiative sees MLL switch off all non-essential lights at their warehouses and offices, making a significant contribution to energy conservation.

Inspired by a government initiative during the pandemic, this initiative – initially adopted as a monthly practice within the organisation – has now become a cornerstone of MLL's sustainability efforts, encouraging participation not only at MLL’s offices and warehouses but also at our employees' homes!

With a clear focus on fostering consciousness and responsibility among employees, the ‘Green Hour’ aims to instil a sense of awareness around climate change and the collective impact of individual actions.
