Mahindra Finance is proud to announce that it has recently been recognised with two prestigious awards for its flagship CSR programmes, ‘Swabhimaan’ and ‘Dhan Samvaad,’ a steady commitment to social responsibility and financial inclusion.

Distinguished NBFC Awards (DNA Awards) 2024

At the DNA Awards held on August 21, 2024, in Mumbai, Mahindra Finance was honored with the Best CSR Initiative and Best Financial Inclusion Initiative awards. The "Swabhimaan" program, which focuses on equipping drivers with essential skills, improving their health, and ensuring their family's financial well-being, was recognized as the Best CSR Initiative. The "Dhan Samvaad" initiative, which aims to enhance financial and digital literacy among gig workers and micro-enterprises, received the Best Financial Inclusion Initiative award.

India CSR Leadership Award 2024

Mahindra Finance also received the ‘CSR Project of the Year Award 2023-24’ by the India CSR Leadership Awards for its comprehensive ‘Swabhimaan’ programme. This initiative is a holistic driver development program that addresses multiple aspects of a driver's professional and personal life.

The program provides essential training for new drivers entering the workforce, ensuring they are well-prepared to operate four-wheeled vehicles safely and efficiently. Additionally, ‘Swabhimaan’ actively promotes gender inclusivity by offering specialised E/Auto Rickshaw training for women, encouraging their participation in non-conventional trades and vocations such as driving.

Recognising the critical importance of road safety, the program includes comprehensive road safety awareness training for all drivers, aiming to protect not only the drivers but also their passengers and pedestrians. Moreover, understanding the long-term impact of education, the programme provides scholarships to the children of drivers, helping to improve their future prospects and break the cycle of financial insecurity.

These initiatives underscore Mahindra Finance's deep commitment to empowering individuals, fostering inclusive growth, and making a positive, sustainable impact on the communities it serves.
