MLDL's Green Army programme aims to educate students on sustainability, reducing reliance on external freshwater sources

Mahindra Lifespaces (MLDL) Green Army initiative took a significant step forward with the installation of a rainwater harvesting system at Divine Child High School. This project, under the Green School programme, aims to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious citizens.

By partnering with Urdhvam Environmental Technologies, MLDL has successfully implemented a rooftop rainwater harvesting system that collects and stores precious rainwater for the school's landscaping and sanitation needs. This innovative solution not only reduces the school's reliance on external water sources but also serves as a practical learning experience for students.

The recent event at Divine Child High School generated immense enthusiasm among students as they delved into the intricacies of rainwater harvesting. From understanding the system's design to grasping its environmental benefits, students showcased a keen interest in sustainable practices.

This is just the beginning. MLDL is committed to expanding its Green School programme to more schools in cities like Kalyan and Pune, fostering a greener, more water-secure future for generations to come.
