In the pursuit of a safe and equitable work environment, M&M Ltd.’s commitment to preventing sexual harassment is unwavering. The ‘Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy’, stands as a cornerstone of our efforts. Keeping with the commitment, M&M Ltd. recently conducted a comprehensive awareness session for its first responders from September 11 to 13, 2023. This vital training was aimed at M&M Ltd.’s HR and ER professionals and led by the esteemed external trainer, Adv. Shivangi Prasad.

The session, hosted in collaboration with the POSH secretariat, an advisory body established at the group level to monitor the POSH programme, was tailored to refresh participants’ understanding of the legal framework and policy. However, it went beyond theory to focus on the critical role of first responders in addressing sexual harassment issues, with empathy being a cornerstone quality.

Real-life scenarios were presented to highlight the nuances of the subject and help attendees grasp the complexities surrounding workplace harassment. The newly certified batch of first responders will play a pivotal role in upholding our organisation’s unwavering resolve to provide a safe and secure workspace for all.
