MALT 2024: Celebrating growth and leadership

Pioneering the future of leadership development, Mahindra Group introduces the third cohort of the Mahindra Accelerated Leadership Track in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business

Mahindra Group, committed to nurturing internal talent for future leadership roles, spearheads the Mahindra Accelerated Leadership Track (MALT) as a strategic initiative.  Collaborating with Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, Mahindra has unveiled a pioneering leadership programme led by a core team, featuring Amit Kumar Sinha (MD & CEO, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited), Harshvendra Soin (Group Executive Board Member and Chief People Officer, Tech Mahindra), and Rajeshwar Tripathi (Chief Human Resources Officer-AFS and Member of Group Executive Board). Working closely with Ruzbeh Irani (President, Group HR & Member of Group Executive Board), they crafted and launched the innovative MALT programme.

MALT’s primary goal

MALT was born out of collaboration and visionary leadership, stands as a beacon of progressive talent development within the Mahindra Group. Empowered by the collective expertise of key leadership members and driven by a commitment to excellence, MALT continues to shape future leaders, ensuring Mahindra’s sustained success in a dynamic business landscape.

In a grand inauguration on December 5, 2023, the third cohort of MALT was launched. The first two batches of MALT have undergone remarkable growth, building on the successes of its initial two batches through job rotations and expanded roles. Participants have actively contributed to the Mahindra Group's growth story.  Under the guidance of Mahindra’s leadership figures such as Dr. Anish Shah, Rajesh Jejurikar, and Ramesh Iyer, the programme has cultivated a dynamic environment fostering the evolution and thriving of emerging leaders.

As MALT progresses into its subsequent phases, Mahindra Group remains committed to the programme’s evolution. The collaborative efforts between the Tepper School of Business and Mahindra Group leadership promise a continued focus on grooming high-potential individuals into the leaders of tomorrow.
