Here’s the story of Mahindra Finance’s customer Sangappa Nilappa from Kotikal, in Badami in Karnataka, who has not only progressed in his life but brought success and growth in the life of people from his village. His experience and motivation to help and assist people in his community is his biggest achievement.

Mahindra Finance helped Sangappa with tractor loan and that inspired the entire village to set up their businesses by taking loans from Mahindra Finance. Even though he couldn't go to school, he motivated every child of Kotikal to become self-reliant. “I was working as a labourer, but I had a wish to buy a tractor. Mahindra Finance offered me a loan and from then onwards everything is going well,” he says.

He is not only one of the oldest customers of Mahindra Finance but also acts as a local partner (Sutradhaar) for the company. He is called the ‘Bheeshm Pitamah’ of his village and is responsible for helping the villager (men and women) progress and prosper.
