The Acko Drive Awards

The Acko Drive Awards signify the beginning of a new journey with a deep-rooted authority over the automotive industry. The Award strives to not just recognise the best products and people from the auto industry, but also tries to set new benchmarks for transparency, credibility and relevance.

It drove home a point about the being ‘The One That Matters’, because the nominees go through a thorough scrutiny conducted by a diverse set of expert jury members. Four-wheeler judging criteria included parameters such as safety, value for money, environment, significance to segment, emotional appeal occupant environment, technology, performance and driving dynamics (ride & handling).

The Awards ceremony declared winners in over 55 categories, honouring the best from the industry on March 29, 2023, in New Delhi.

The Drive Person of the Year

Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO of Mahindra Auto and Farm sectors was announced as the first-ever Acko Drive Person of the Year, for a year of standout strategy, achievement, and inspiration.

Our Chairman, Anand Mahindra, applauded Jejurikar for the honour bestowed! He tweeted, “I don’t think it would surprise you if I told you that, in my opinion, this is a great choice!”

Jejurikar accepted the award on behalf of all the members and partners of the Mahindra Auto and Farm Sector.

Other accolades

The Mahindra Scorpio-N won two awards in the category of Acko Drive Viewer’s Choice Car and the Drive Safety award.
