To be hand-crafted in Cambiano, near Turin in Italy, the Anniversario celebrates the Pininfarina heritage-inspired design with aerodynamic enhancements, and can accelerate from 0 to 300km/h in less than 12 seconds. A new wheel design with centre-lock forged aluminium wheels reduces the unsprung weight of the Anniversario by almost 10kg, further sharpening the automobile’s handling dynamism.
21-inch rear wheels, performance-oriented tyres, and new rims enable the car to reach its top speed of 350km (217mph). Four electric motors generate 1,900hp and 2,300 Nm of torque, sent to each wheel by the most advanced torque vectoring system, allowing the Anniversario to achieve a level of performance that is unbeatable by any road-legal sports car with an internal combustion engine.
Each of the five cars will be finished in a combination of Automobili Pininfarina’s signature colours – Iconica Blu, Bianco Sestriere, and the new Grigio Antonelliano. Skilled artisans will take several weeks to hand-paint each car, building the finish colour by colour, layer by layer. The body of the car will be disassembled and reassembled three times so that the pinstripes in the three separate colours can be hand-painted directly onto the body. “Battista Anniversario features one of the most complex finishes in the world. Styling, balanced with ultimate performance, produces a genuine Pininfarina; the beauty of power and the power of beauty,” said Luca Borgogno, the Chief Design Officer, Automobili Pininfarina. The Anniversario will be equipped with a customised ‘Furiosa’ package, comprising a revised carbon fibre front splitter, side blades and a rear diffuser. Exclusive livery, a bespoke rear wing, rear aero fins and other bespoke details are exclusive to the Anniversario. The limited-edition car will also feature unique seats finished in sustainably crafted black leather and black Alcantara, an engraved chassis plate, headlight engraving, ‘Anniversario’ in script on the side wings, black anodized door plaques, and the signature Pininfarina 90 logo.
