In early February Dr Anish Shah, Group CEO & MD took the stage to address 400+ Mahindra employees at the first-ever Townhall held at the Mahindra Towers, Worli office.

He took this opportunity to retell, how 80 years ago, when the Mahindra Group was established, the Founding Fathers chose certain guiding values and behaviours – that set it on the path to become one India’s most admired company. These values continue to hold true even today, as the Group and its people navigate a very different world.

Dr Shah detailed the newly refreshed Mahindra values – what it stands for, its relevance and the way forward. He also took questions from the audience and encouraged conversation.

• Culture - empowerment and caring has been our core DNA. We take pride in balancing a caring and performance driven culture, without compromising one for another.
• Circle of Care – At Mahindra, care is one of our core values. We deeply value our employee health and wellbeing and will be launching the ‘Circle of Care’ a pilot health and wellness programme designed to provide a comprehensive range of support. This is in the pilot stage and will be rolled out in a phased manner.
• Performance – All our success, including external recognitions, accolades and 14x growth in the last 5 years, has been possible due to the legacy and vision of our predecessors and the impact created by our biggest asset – our people.
• To succeed consistently in future, we all need to Think Big, Do Less and Execute Flawlessly.
