In recognition of the unwavering spirit of ‘Rise’ that propels our associates and our Group companies to new heights, Mahindra Group proudly announced the 14th edition of Rise Awards held on April 03, 2025. These awards symbolise the collective effort, dedication, and collaborative ethos that define the Mahindra family.
Pegged as the gold standard for business excellence and brilliance across Mahindra group, this year, too, the Mahindra Rise Awards saw the who’s who of the Mahindra Group check in at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

Company: M&M Ltd., Automotive Division – Igatpuri
Project Name: Integrated Village Development Project
This Project focused on the areas of education, water, health and skill development in 1,559 villages of Biwalwadi and Chintamanwadi in Maharashtra. Under the project, the development of Anganwadi Infrastructure, health check-up camps, and a skill development training program for youth were conducted. Water conservation interventions increased the capacity by 1110 KL.

Company: Mahindra Rural Housing Finance Limited
Project Name: Free Veterinary Treatment Special Camp
Under this project 7 free veterinary treatment camps were organised across four states Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat where 9,930 animals received treatment including vaccines and supplements. A total of 3,530 farmers and livestock owners benefited directly from these camps. As a peripheral benefit, during the project implementation, land for fodder cultivation was identified to address long-term fodder insecurity.

Project Name: Mahindra AI – MATRIX
MATRIX (Manufacturing.AI) leverages an in-house developed human-AI interaction framework to seamlessly embed AI/GenAI across manufacturing operations, breaking pilot purgatory with scalable solutions like predictive maintenance, vision-based QC, and digital twins. By integrating domain expertise with AI models, we are setting a new benchmark for sustainable, adaptive production at scale.

Company: Mahindra Susten
Project Name: Chasing SBTi Targets
Mahindra Susten achieved its SBTi Targets, a globally recognised corporate commitment, by committing to >50% Scope 3 reduction by 15x water positive, with all its sites becoming ZWL (Zero Waste to Landfill) certified. It designed and implemented the first-ever Green Building Main Control Room at Gujarat and adopted a DG-PV hybrid system to reduce GHG emissions. The company integrated sustainability in its strategy by conducting climate change risk assessment for all ongoing projects and 100% ESG assessments for Class-A suppliers. Susten also drove sustainability through stakeholder engagement by collaborating with various external advocacy platforms such as FICCI, CII, CRISIL to advocate for and provide meaningful solution to various issues in the RE sector, besides helping all other Mahindra group companies reduce their emissions via a mega RE project in Maharashtra.

Project Name: Prarambh
Prarambh is an industry-first initiative by Mahindra Finance, a strategic partnership for sustainable impact. Designed specifically for women in rural and semi-urban areas, the program aims to create a robust talent pipeline for frontline sales and collection roles in the BFSI sector. Participants undergo a specialized business training, crafted by Mahindra Finance and academic experts from the training partners, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to empower them for success. Prarambh is more than just a training program—it is a platform to foster gender inclusion, enable economic independence, and bridge the gender gap in traditionally male-dominated functional areas.

Project Name: Redefining Innovation Through DEI in STEM
MRV fosters an inclusive workplace by empowering women in STEM, addressing systemic barriers and embedding psychological safety through Safe2Express intervention. Initiatives like SOAR reintegrate women engineers into impactful roles, while targeted grassroots hiring creates opportunities for underrepresented groups. DEI dashboards and inclusion surveys ensure transparency and track progress, reinforcing MRV’s commitment towards creating a diverse, inclusive and future-fit PD organisation. Gender-diverse teams play a pivotal role in designing inclusive, customer-centric technologies that redefine automotive and farm equipment innovation. Establishment of Employee Resource Groups framework and Inclusion Councils are another step in this direction. They play a key role in creating a strong sense of community, fostering Inclusion in workplace and contributing towards the gender equality advancement.
