Karuna Saini, from EP Delivery, Bristleconeis one of the most dedicated volunteers in the Delhi/NCR region, consistently going above and beyond to support various initiatives. Her passion and commitment shine through her work, inspiring others to get involved.What motivates you to volunteer?
Two words that inspire me to serve in any manner are tranquillity and gratitude. I'm grateful for my blessings and every chance I have to be part of CSR projects I see an opportunity to give back to society. I think that everyone should contribute to society, even if it's just a tiny bit. Also, it helps me stay groundedHow would you inspire others to volunteer?
Some people may need a little encouragement to participate for the first time (from their management, peer group, or ELT; perhaps we could highlight their CSR impact stories). Once they see the advantages, they will be more inclined to do so. Their viewpoint shifts, and they subsequently adopt that line of thought and support the cause.
Priyam Chauhan, Enabling Function, Bristlecone has been actively involved in every volunteering activity since joining the organisation. Priyam’s energy inspires others to participate, and his consistent support strengthens our initiatives, making an impact on the Pune community and our CSR goals.What motivates you to volunteer:Giving back to society provides a sense of completeness. In college, the simple idea of being able to improve someone’s life, even in the smallest way, inspired me to start volunteering. It makes me personally happy to know that I’m able to bring about positive change and help those in need. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue this journey in my professional life as well. It’s truly rewarding to see the tangible impact that even small efforts can have. How would you inspire others to volunteer?I believe in "the more, the merrier" is best shown when we share our experiences with others. I’ve noticed that when we talk about the positive differences we’re making, others become inspired and often want to get involved themselves. When people see the impact firsthand, they tend to join us for the next opportunity. Volunteering is open to everyone, and it only takes a small step to make a big difference.
G Madhu Kiran, paint shop maintenance, Zaheerabad Auto Division demonstrated career guidance for diploma final year students at the Government Polytechnic College at Zaheerabad and even attended as an external examiner explaining to the student how to apply for Mahindra scholarship programmes.What motivates you to volunteer: An opportunity to create social awareness to younger generations.How would you inspire others to volunteer?By being in touch with government schools and colleges for their events and volunteering.
Nimba Bhamare, operations, Mahindra Logisticsis a dedicated volunteer whose passion for community and environmental causes extends beyond personal involvement. This year, he inspired his team and their families to participate in a tree-planting initiative in Chakan, fostering unity and collective responsibility. Not only the tree plantation, but the team voluntarily contributed to orphanage homes under Nimba’s leadership which is motivating others, creating lasting impact through both action and inspiration.
What motivates you to volunteer? I’m motivated by a deep sense of social responsibility and the desire to make a meaningful change in our communities. Volunteering helps me address societal challenges, and the support of my family strengthens my commitment. I believe collective action drives progress, and every effort, no matter how small, creates a better future. How would you inspire others to volunteer? To join, simply reach out and get involved! The more hands we have, the greater the impact. Whether you bring skills, ideas, or enthusiasm, every contribution counts. Volunteering is about teamwork, and together, we can achieve so much more!
Yogita Shetye, operations, Mahindra Logisticsis a CSR Council Member and brings endless enthusiasm and positivity to every volunteering effort. Her active participation in Esops activities and her uplifting approach to societal issues inspire those around her to get involved and make a difference. Not only employees but she has motivated to get our business associates, her own relatives, and neighbours to participate in CSR activities. She has able to extend the project like skill development and career guidance to the remote places in rural areas. Which shows her passion towards rising the underprivileged communities.What motivates you to volunteer? I’m driven by the joy of making a positive impact. Seeing the smiles of those I help recharges my spirit and reminds me that even small acts of kindness can create big change. Each smile fuels my desire to do more. How would you inspire others to volunteer? To join, all you need is a willing heart and a desire to help. The more people we have, the more smiles we create! Volunteering is about teamwork, and together we can amplify our impact. Leaders should motivate their teams to participate, as every contribution counts in creating positive change.
