The Mahindra Institute of Quality just concluded the 9th batch of energy management with a electrifying success
Energy is the need of the hour.
To conserve the available resources, it is necessary to utilise the energy in an efficient way. At Mahindra, we constantly explore the implementation of available technologies which will conserve energy utilized per product produced and services offered.
Mahindra Institute of Quality (MIQ) organised 9th batch of the program ‘Energy Management – The Mahindra Way’ on 12-13 November 2024. The objectives of the program were to enhance energy conservation awareness for effective asset selection, resource utilisation, process optimisation, improve operational efficiency, to disseminate latest techniques and advancements in the field of energy management.
Internal faculties from the group shared their insights on the topics like Net Zero, Science Based Targets (SBT) and use of renewable energy to achieve the business goals.
External faculties were invited from organizations like Energetic Consulting, Thermax, Ecofirst, Grundfos, Schneider Electric, Renotech Air Engineering, Atlas Copco and Wipro who enlightened their knowledge towards energy audit, regulatory requirements, heat pump, waste heat recovery, green buildings, efficient pumping systems, air conditioning, harmonics, building management system, compressed air and lighting.
26 participants from Auto, Farm, Swaraj, Finance, Defence, Aerostructures and M&M suppliers actively participated in the program and rated it at 4.36 on a scale of 1-5.
The program was designed and coordinated by Anand Marathe, Lead Sustainability at MIQ.
