Dr. Vimal Srivastava of Mahindra Swaraj Division has spearheaded impactful environmental initiatives, including the renovation of 50 traditional ponds in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, significantly boosting local livelihoods, promoting biodiversity and fostering conservation. He has also overseen the development of over 10 Miyawaki forests and championed energy conservation through biogas initiatives. Through continuous community engagement and active stakeholder involvement, Dr. Srivastava’s initiatives are making a substantial difference in water conservation and energy-saving practices, enhancing overall environmental health. Committed to environmental protection
Shiv Prasad Adhikari from Chakan, is a dedicated member of the Pune Well-Wisher Group. He passionately engages in various environmental activities every Sunday. The various activities undertaken by this group includes river cleanups, particularly striving for a plastic-free Indrayani River near Pune. Deeply concerned about the destruction of nature, Adhikari believes in the principle that whatever we do to nature, it will return to us, often with compounded effects. Watch

Steps for a greener future
Ajay Verma of the Haridwar Plant is dedicated to environmental sustainability through a series of impactful initiatives. Each year, he plants 100-200 trees and diligently monitors their survival rates, ensuring long-term growth and benefits. He produces vermicompost to enhance soil health and reduce waste. Vishal Kumar of Haridwar Plant has taken proactive steps to conserve electricity. Recognising the importance of energy conservation, he has initiated measures such as switching off unused ACs, lights and fans, while also advocating for the use of LED lights. Grishma Bhatt of Mahindra Logistics goes beyond her professional duties by actively engaging in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
