Mahindra Accelo has set up a state-of-the-art futuristic classroom in Vadodara, equipped with interactive screens to aid digital learning
On August 7, 2024, the Shree H P Seth Girls Vidhyalay in Savli, Vadodara, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Futuristic Classroom. This initiative was spearheaded by Mahindra Accelo’s Vadodara team, who played a pivotal role in making this innovative learning environment for the school's 538 girl students, ranging from standard 1 to 12. The school, which operates under government and trust support, now boasts a digital classroom equipped with cutting-edge e-Learning software and interconnected computers for both teachers and students.
Accelo Vadodara team's vision was to elevate the educational experience by embracing digital learning, which facilitates a deeper understanding of concepts through interactive pictures and videos. This initiative is particularly impactful for rural schools, where keeping pace with the changing global environment is essential. The team conducted extensive research among various schools in the vicinity of their Savli Factory and selected Shree H P Seth Girls Vidhyalay as the ideal candidate to benefit from this advanced facility.
The e-Learning software, designed in the local language, enhances the learning experience by allowing individualised attention and fostering teacher-student interactions. The innovative e-desks enable teachers to monitor each student’s progress on a single screen, a feature unique to the entire Vadodara district. This setup not only aids in conceptual understanding but also supports problem-solving skills, especially in STEM subjects.
The anticipated impact of the Futuristic Classroom is immense, with visual learning proving to be an effective method for memory retention and comprehensive understanding. The digital materials integrated into the educational process are expected to improve involvement and participation at every learning stage.
With this new facility, teachers can now offer personalised guidance, thus enhancing the overall teaching and learning process. As the school begins to utilse this classroom, the Vadodara team remains optimistic about evaluating the initiative’s success soon, particularly its effect on STEM learning among the students.
