How our all-rounder Mahindraites Rise in sports

Our colleague, Ganesh Kuwar has attained major feats in cycling. He recently stood first in his category of Half Ironman competition conducted by the Deccan Sports Club, Kolhapur.

Recently, he also qualified for Paris-Brest-Paris cycling event. The Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) cycling event is a test of many things: a rider’s ability to pace himself, his physical readiness, mental strength, and planning.

Ganesh joined the Corporate IT team in November 2015 and has been IT-in-charge at MLU-Nashik.

He was named "Super Randonneur" six times in a single year (November 2020 to October 2021).

Randonneuring is long-distance endurance cycling with rides of 200, 300, 400, and 600 km called Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRMs). Audax Club Parisien (ACP) is the international governing body

The Super Randonneur (SR) title, earned by Kuwar, is given to a rider who completes the Super Series of brevets (200 km, 300 km, 400 km and 600 km) within the same calendar year (November-October) within a frame of time given by the Audax India Randonneur cycling club.

Ganesh completed the 1,200 km Brevet in February 2022, for which he was awarded a certificate of recognition from the Mumbai Randonneurs.

Ganesh took the opportunity to Rise to the occasion and represent his hometown of Bhagur on the international stage.
