It wasn’t too long ago that Mahindra Racing became the first Formula E team and the first ABB FIA World Championship entrant to be certified Net Zero Carbon footprint since inception. Even as the euphoria refuses to die down, here’s a look at other initiatives undertaken by the Mahindra Group to achieve carbon neutrality.

It’s not just the Race team who is passionate about sustainability. The Mahindra Group is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040 through four big drivers for decarbonisation — energy efficiency, renewable energy, electric mobility and offsetting. As Chairman Anand Mahindra said, “…we need to walk the talk. I’ve committed our Group to this stretch goal because I believe it will drive innovation and lead to new business incubation.”
