Breaking away from the corporate mode, Mahindra Towers on June 20 donned a different vibe. Sing-alongs, humming, clapping and whistles could be heard on the 3ʳᵈ floor hallway as the Group Corporate Communications team summed up its World Music Day celebrations. 

A month back, the Group Corporate Communications team invited entries from musicians and singers from across Mahindra Group companies. Over 200 associates from across companies sent their entries – some played the flute; some the tablas; some sang songs, and some strummed the guitar.

A rigorous audition process later 30 talented Mahindraites were invited to participate in the World Music Day celebrations held at the Banyan Tree on June 20. Many of our musical stalwarts traveled from across India – Rajasthan, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Nashik to be the ‘Beat’ for this very first musical evening.
