Plant a tree, nurture a future, join the green revolution

Project Hariyali, a joint initiative of the Mahindra Foundation and the Naandi Foundation, was initiated by the Mahindra Group in 2007 with a twofold mission: to enhance green cover while addressing ecological imbalances and uplift small holding farmer families. Initially, the project set an annual goal of planting one million trees across all Mahindra locations, and by 2010, it had expanded to create a functional forest for the tribal communities in Araku valley near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Today, Project Hariyali has flourished into a monumental people-led movement, resulting in 24.86 million trees taking root. It has also extended its impact to northern India, focusing on organic regenerative agriculture with zero chemical use in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, making strides towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.

Here is your chance to join the green crusade.

Inviting all Mahindraites to visit the newly launched Project Hariyali website and embark on your donation journey. That’s not all – you can even choose to gift trees to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or simply contribute to our journey towards an ecologically conscious future.

There's no limit to the number of saplings you can donate.  The trees require three years of care before becoming a vital nutritional source for farmer families and with your donation Project Hariyali pledges to nurture these fruit trees for three years.

So, visit our website today and be a part of Project Hariyali's remarkable journey.

Note: All donations will receive plantation certificates, 80G compliant receipts, and annual progress reports for the saplings you support.
