From Bangladesh to Tanzania, Swaraj Tractors continues to transform agriculture worldwide

Swaraj Tractors, a stalwart in the Indian agricultural machinery landscape since 1974, has not only solidified its position in the domestic market but has also made significant strides on the global stage.

In Bangladesh, Swaraj Tractors, represented by Performance Motors Ltd., organised the Briddhi Utsav from May to July 2023. This unique event featured Customer Meets, Broker Meets, and Service Camps, fostering valuable interactions with farmers and brokers. The well-attended sessions generated a good number of inquiries, highlighting the success of this initiative.

Briddhi Utsav served as a great platform for fostering conversations with farmers and brokers, understanding and resolving their concerns, reinforcing their trust and loyalty in the brand Swaraj.

With over 5,500 tractors imported this year to Bangladesh, the country is the largest global importer of Swaraj tractors, a testament to Swaraj's impact.

In Tanzania, Swaraj, in collaboration with Agricom, stole the spotlight at the agricultural trade fair in August 2023. The strategically designed pavilion secured the first position in the Agricultural Equipment category, marking another triumph for Swaraj. This added to its successive wins at the national level for its display stalls. A wide range of Swaraj tractors were shown in their full glory at the event. Whether it was the Mbeya, Dodoma, Arusha, Mwanza, Morogoro or Simiyu regions, Swaraj was at the centre of everyone’s attention.

The Honourable Prime Minister of Tanzania, Kassim Majaliwa and Hussein Bashe, Minister of Agriculture, Tanzania, graced the Swaraj pavilion. A key handover ceremony took place, and the happy customer, Malekano, who does farming in Kilombero, got a representational key to his Swaraj 963 model. The presence of such dignitaries added prestige to the occasion. The pivotal moment of handing over the keys, coupled with a designated photo opportunity zone, emphasised Swaraj’s steadfast dedication to empowering farmers on a global scale.
