In the recent 1,000 MW (1 GW) solar tender by Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RUVNL), Mahindra Susten, a prominent renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP), has secured the bid for 200 MW capacity. The project was awarded by RUVNL through competitive bidding held on May 4, followed by an e-reverse auction. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months.

Mahindra Susten, Mahindra Group’s renewable energy platform has been powering green energy to the nation since 2010. As an independent power producer (IPP), Susten currently operates 1.54 GWp+ of renewable power projects across India and is expected to have a significant renewable power pipeline in the coming years, involving solar energy, hybrid energy, integrated energy storage, and round-the-clock (RTC) plants.
