Mahindra Scorpio-N makes a Bollywood debut in Sam Bahadur
The rugged Mahindra Scorpio-N made its Bollywood debut in Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, released on December 1, 2023. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the drama narrates the life of India's first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw, during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group also paid tribute to Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw. He tweeted about his meeting with Manekshaw in the late 1990s when the legendary military leader expressed the need for better SUVs for the Indian Armed Forces. Mr. Mahindra said that he wished Manekshaw were still alive so that he could personally take him for a drive in the Scorpio-N. Mahindra unveils eco-friendly CNG tractor  
Mahindra Tractors showcased its ground-breaking CNG mono-fuel tractor at Agrovision, Nagpur, Central India's largest Agri Summit. The tractor, unveiled in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, the Honourable Minister of Road, Transport, and Highway, offers optimal emission control and operational cost efficiency. Developed at Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai, the CNG tractor equals diesel-run tractors in power and performance while significantly reducing emissions by almost 70%. Lower engine vibrations lead to a quieter operation, enhancing operator comfort and extending working hours. The tractor, equipped with CNG technology, proves versatile in various agricultural and haulage applications, promising economic appeal with anticipated savings of INR 100 per hour compared to diesel tractors.
