Mahindra has marked yet another milestone in its journey within Tanzania, since establishing its presence in the region back in 2008. This journey has now been propelled forward by a strategic partnership with SARGA MotoCorp, a globally recognised automotive industry leader. Together, they are set to create a significant impact on the agricultural landscape in Tanzania, making Mahindra tractors and machinery more accessible to local farmers and elevating their overall experience.
The move is set to benefit Tanzanian farmers, as it promises to enhance their access to Mahindra's cutting-edge agricultural solutions. With this collaboration, Mahindra's tractors and farm machinery will not only be more accessible, but the partnership will also elevate the sales and after-sales experience for the local farming community.
An impressive flagship showroom established by SARGA MotoCorp on Nyerere Road in Dar es Salaam, spanning approximately 300 square metres, serves as a testament to the shared vision of agricultural excellence. The showroom launch ceremony was marked by enthusiasm, with esteemed guests including Sandeep Singh, Founder and CEO of SARGA MotoCorp, Sandesh Parab, General Manager of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. - Head of Africa (FES IO), Prof. Kenneth M.K. Bengesi, Director General of the Sugar Board, Ministry of Agriculture, Tanzania, and Manoj B. Verma, Deputy High Commissioner of India to Tanzania.
Sarga MotoCorp is committed to ensuring that Mahindra's legacy of high-quality products and services continues. Over 25 Mahindra Certified Service Points (MCSP) and three spare part dealers are set to be on board throughout Tanzania.
Mahindra has been present in Africa through its tractor and automotive business for more than two decades, exporting its tractors to over 30 markets on the continent, with a strong presence in Tanzania, Algeria, Benin, Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan, and South Africa. The partnership between Mahindra and SARGA MotoCorp symbolises a new beginning in Tanzania's agricultural journey. This collaboration holds the promise of transforming the way Tanzanian farmers experience and harness agricultural innovation.
