Automobili Pininfarina, a 100 per cent Mahindra and Mahindra Company, let ace racer Nick Heidfeld track test the Battista Hyper GT, the most powerful road-legal luxury sustainable sports car in Italy, as part of a prototype development exercise at the Nardò Technical Center. With unrivalled expertise in honing the characteristics of performance vehicles, Heidfeld has played a crucial role in simulation testing of the pure-electric Hyper GT. This was Heidfeld’s first time on the Nardò handling circuit, and behind the wheel of the Battista as well. “What really surprised me was how natural the Battista feels on the track,” said Heidfeld.
