SHRM HR Excellence Awards
SHRM is the world’s largest HR professional society. This year, due to COVID constraints, SHRM’s annual India Annual & Tech Conference evolved into a virtual conclave, filled with keynote sessions, and panel discussions, bringing together renowned speakers and government functionaries from various global organisations. The highlight of the conclave was the SHRM HR Excellence Awards which recognises organisations for their best practices in various categories. Tech Mahindra won the ‘Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion’ category. “We at Tech Mahindra take a lot of pride that we are intensely diverse and nationally inclusive organisation,” said Harshvendra Soin, Global Chief People Officer, and Head of Marketing, Tech Mahindra. “We value and celebrate uniqueness of each individual by fostering an environment of inclusion and empowerment,” he added. Tech Mahindra also picked up an award in the “Excellence in Learning and development in the Private Sector” category at the SHRM HR Excellence awards.
Gold and Silver
Tech Mahindra takes its commitment towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) very seriously, with a firm focus on the Mahindra Group’s ‘RISE’ philosophy. The Tech Mahindra Foundation’s wins at #CSR Times Award 2020 is a validation of the company’s vision and the impact of its CSR activities on the lives of the thousands of people touched. Tech Mahindra pulled off a twofer at the awards, with a Gold for its COVID Relief category and a Silver for the company’s push for Women’s Empowerment.
With this and other laurels under its belt, Tech Mahindra is gearing up to meet the new year – there are more challenges to be met, more goals to be achieved, and many more awards to be won.
